More Updates to Come

New material will be posted below this comment, when I have time. I'm looking to organize the page so new material is at the bottom, but Blogger will not let me do that and keep the dates true to when they happened.

Comments:
Hi Sam... I was also involved with Ms. Helen Bogu around last October when she emailed me wanting to order some of my artisan jewelry. I went thru many emails with her back and forth almost identical to yours. In the last few she kept trying me to give her my bank information so she could wire transfer the money to me. Yah right!! Thank god for my womens intuition. Needless to say I didn't give her that information and I gave her almost 1 month to send the money. I never saw a penny of it and luckily I never sent her the items. I found your blog because I get really p*ssed off every once in a while and Google her just in case something comes up. Low and behold. I am sorry someone else has had to deal with this person. Karma is a b*tch

Hi Anon,
Thanks for posting your story. If you have any emails or details you'd like me to post here of Mrs Helen please send them along to my email address.

Sam,

You should know that many of these "Nigerian" scams are actually run out of places like Toronto and Montreal. Often there is is a Montreal, Toronto, London England connection and often there is not a single Nigerian involved. From what I know these are anywhere from 5 to 20 person rings. If you say you are in Toronto there will be at least of 3 persons in the Toronto side of the crew.

Goodwinginger,
Thanks for the tip. I happened to be aware of this sad Canadian connection, but especially of the English connection, since Leeds was one place where some of my "contacts" were residing or wishing me to send mail to. I confirmed there was some Nigerian activity in the case of Helen Bogu, due to website logs.
